About Us — 104.1 Bucketts Radio

Gloucester Broadcasters Association Inc. was formed in 2005 and has been broadcasting as Bucketts Radio 104.1FM since 1 June 2009. In March 2024 we were granted a full-time Community Broadcasting Licence — we have well and truly come of age in the radio world.

The station is staffed 100% by volunteers and funded by sponsorship from mainly local businesses, along with memberships and donations. Our transmitter on the Kia-Ora Lookout, completed in 2023 with support from the Community Broadcasting Foundation and the NSW Government, carries our signal far across the district.

Our goal is simple: to give Gloucester local news, information and entertainment; to help community groups share their events and causes; and to give volunteers a place to learn, grow and have a lot of fun. But most of all, we love to play a wide variety of music.
